Maxine & Mike Shea are the founders of their family-run Australian business, Hemp Collective based in the Byron Shire.
Hemp Collective grows hemp with organic & sustainable farming practices in the Byron Shire. They usually grow every year but COVID has been prohibitive to grow this year. They then handcraft high-quality natural Hair, Body and Pet Care products using Australian grown hemp.
Their business is built on conscious, sustainable and ethical principles, but Hemp Collective does more than just sell amazing eco Hemp hair, Body & Pet Care products. They have been involved in pioneering the Hemp Industry and the ongoing education of the misunderstood hemp plant.
Maxine has managed to thread her deep knowledge around how products impact our natural environment and personal health by having a sustainable & zero waste focus on all products created. This is integral to creating a happier, healthier world for future generations.
It’s about making quality products for a sustainable future.
Our vision is to build a business that holds a social and ethical responsibility about how our products and our waste impact our natural environment and our personal health. We have a circular and zero-waste focus on every aspect of our supply chain integral to creating a happier healthier world for future generations.
One of the many ways we have achieved this is with our product range & hemp education.
Our big picture vision is to see more people across Australia growing hemp with organic and sustainable farming practices and Hemp Collective supporting growers.
