Every Tuesday and Friday morning the permaculture garden at Sunshine Beach State School becomes the bush playgroup area for busy little nature lovers.

This special playgroup is hosted by a team of wonderful teachers, university lecturers, wildlife lovers and horticulture enthusiasts!

Children can get their hands dirty planting in the garden, dig for worms in the compost, take part in the morning bush craft activity and join children’s favourite personality ‘Bob’ for a bush walk to spot all kinds of treasures.

The bushland setting is home to several bush bee colonies and a huge variety of interesting plant life that both children and parents enjoy exploring and learning about.
